Hi, I’m Grace.
I believe that real change begins inward.
A student of yoga for more than 15 years, it was not until I hit a painful brick wall in my personal life and career that I truly discovered the power of meditation and contemplative philosophy and practice. Frustrated and burned out after hopping across sectors—academia, corporate America, startups, non profit—in pursuit of impact, I took a sabbatical, asking the universe to clue me in on my next move.
During a retreat in the Spanish Pyrenees, a switch flipped: I had been searching for an enlightened sense of purpose but relying on conventional frameworks, tools and norms. An inner voice told me to go back to my roots—as an anthropologist, long-time yoga student and second-generation Chinese immigrant—and begin the true journey there.
Diving into Eastern philosophy and mind-body practice—with their holistic and experiential approaches to wisdom, meaning and happiness —has allowed me to dramatically transform my worldview and, consequently, my relationship with self and others. These traditions have empowered me to craft and pursue an evolving vision of a joyful, healthful, inspired and impactful life and a simultaneously fulfilling and humbling portfolio of work.
My mission is to share my learnings in a creative and resonant way that empowers individuals, teams and organizations to discover their unique purpose and an illuminated way of being—and contributing—in this world. I offer real tools, methodologies and insights to unearth inner wisdom and translate it into practice.
